Experimental Research Engine Valves

KPMI® was tasked to create custom valves for an experimental research engine utilizing an alternative combustion process.  Starting with both our Black Diamond™ Stainless Steel and Tensilite® Titanium 4mm stem blank valves, KPMI’s Machining and Engineering Department was able to reduce the head of the valve to a super-small 8mm head with a 30° face angle, making a truly distinct engine valve.  KPMI® is uniquely positioned in the industry by having both a fully staffed Engineering and Manufacturing department onsite, allowing us to quickly and effectively create custom products to satisfy many unique requirements.
